You may think that Firefox just out of the box provides a secure Net surfing. The reality is, many of the security features are provided only via extentions (add-ons). Don't know which extensions to install, check out this Digg story for a list from Purdue Univ. CERIAS. (And remember, if you don't like them, you can always uninstall them.)

Firefox has a new version available for download. According to Lister IT Firefox users should upgrade to version 1.5.0.3

A recent Mozilla Security Bulletin explains that a possible exploit exists in Firefox version 1.5.0.2 that can cause browser crashes and run malicious code.
